If you don’t know about it, Bluestacks enables you to convert your computer into a full-fledged Android device. You can play popular games like Pubg and run any Android app imaginable.

But despite having a crazily large user base, Bluestacks has few security vulnerabilities.

To start off, Bluestacks runs on the Android Platform, which is notorious for being insecure. Not only that, Bluestacks suffers from vulnerabilities such as CVE-2019-12936CVE-2018-0701, and CVE-2016-4288.

Even if you don’t think security flaws to be much of an issue, you are securely going to be bothered by geo-restrictions.

Apps such as Spotify and Hulu are only available in a few countries. Not to mention Netflix & BBC iPlayer.

Keeping this in mind, I have curated an impressive list of great Bluestacks VPNs that can encrypt your network traffic, and help you deal with vulnerabilities or geo-blocks.

Should I use free VPNs for Bluestacks?

To be blatantly honest with you, no!

Since free VPNs are nothing more than proxies, you cannot expect any sort of security.

Not only that, free VPNs have a terrible reputation for maliciously stealing user data and selling it to third-party advertisers.

Since stringent bandwidth caps plague free VPNs, you’re likely not going to be able to download apps with large file sizes.

Considering that you don’t want to deal with limited bandwidths, and stolen user data, the smart choice is to use one of the top-rated VPNs like the ones I have discussed in this blog.

Wrapping up –5 best VPNs for Bluestacks

Bluestacks might be one of the best emulators around, but geo-restrictions and security vulnerabilities can make using the app a rather challenging decision.

Don’t you worry, though; a Bluestacks VPN can’t only help you download geo-restricted android apps like Spotify, Netflix, and Pandora, but also help you stay protected from security vulnerabilities.

I hope you found this blog informational, do let me know if I should add more VPNs to my list in the comment section below.

  1. I was super happy when I found BlueStack, though as it was also mentioned here I was a bit concerned about security and geo-blocks, which is why I got SurfShark. Now that I can easily use BlueStack without getting any fear of being hacked and at the same time I can bypass geo-blocks. So a win-win situation for me.
