After president Trump and his team decided to repeal the Net Neutrality law in the US , the internet users in America was in huge rage and anger that how a federal department can support such unethical digital practice, like Net Neutrality law. Several online privacy advocated raised their voice against and now it is John Oliver vs FCC. Now John Oliver is asking people to give their feedback about it so that FCC can reverse the decision it has made. After such horrifically increasing online privacy threats in US people are switching to an encrypted connection to avoid any privacy leak of their online data in the US, they are using the best VPN for USA to encrypt their entire internet connection from being spied on by the government and security agencies.

The FCC released a statement on May 8, in which it reported multiple distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks that had occurred Sunday night and Monday morning (May 7-8).  “These actors were not attempting to file comments themselves; rather they made it difficult for legitimate commenters to access and file with the FCC,” the statement said.

What is Net Neutrality Law in the US?

If you are new to the term Net Neutrality, let me remind you about it in brief. It is a rule made back in Obama era, according to which the internet Service Providers (ISPs) and restricted to interfere in the content of the web due to any reason or personal preference, but on 26th April 2017, Ajit Pai, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) dumped the Net neutrality law made in Obama administration and is going to repeal the Net neutrality law in the United States as he gained position and power now in the Trump presidency. This move was speculated as Trump signs internet privacy legislation in the US.

After this, US Internet service providers got a chance again to eliminate net neutrality – and they have the back of Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with them, but they have to face a lot before they can do it. As John Oliver of Last Week Tonight (HBO) is highlighting the issue and asking the iewers to respond by flooding the FCC site with comments and it seems it is John Oliver vs FCC now.
