As per the documents on Tuesday 7th March 2017, Wikileaks showed how the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has hacked and broken into many iOS and Android devices easily, but no encrypted messaging app was broken. Which clearly shows how important encryption is and how vulnerable iOS and Android devices are. Due to the rise in online attacks and snooping by government and surveillance agencies, many technology companies releases some encrypted messaging app. These apps use the end-to-end encryption technology to secure the chats and all the conversations of the users. End-to-end encryption is the most secure form of encryption by far in which the encryption keys are held by the users unless shared. This was even the app developer is unable to break into the app data which makes it secure and anonymous. As per Wikileaks’ document which was released on Tuesday the government also hacked many smart TVs as well which is horrifying. It is a high time we must consider securing all the smart devices we use are generally powered by Android ad Apple’s iOS. The best way to secure them is using a tool for online privacy and security which provides high-end encryption with AES 256-bit encryption like the best VPN for Android and the best VPN for iPhone.
