Watch UFC 240: Holloway Vs Edgar Live in the United States

If you’re residing in the US (how lucky), you’ll have direct access to the fight on ESPN+. It’s been a while since ESPN has taken over UFC’s official broadcasting and it’s going to stay that way for quite some time. The only problem that this deal caused is the blackout restrictions UFC Fight Pass suffers.

In essence, you can’t purchase the event on Fight Pass anymore while located in the US. As long as ESPN has the right to broadcast UFC fights, you’ll end up having this blackout error instead of your desired UFC PPV.

“Due to broadcast restrictions, this video is not available within a UFC Fight Pass subscription or as a Pay-Per-View in your region. Please check your local TV listing for viewing information. This event is currently blocked out in your region.”

See? On the bottom left of the screen, you’ll see the official broadcaster in the region. You can purchase the event on ESPN+ in case you have a subscription already. It’s good to know that one of the world’s most excellent sports still have a home in the United States and ESPN+ is a perfect way to stream UFC events. First, you don’t need a cable subscription. Second, according to my calculations, I guess the PPV events are cheaper than they are on Fight Pass.

The channel is a great option to have its subscription is not that expensive. ESPN+ costs you 79.99$ a year. Upon subscribing, they will inform you that you get UFC 240 as well for free. After that, you get back to paying 49.99$ every year.ESPN+ Subscription UFC 240

Once you get a subscription and July 27th hits our calendar, you can stream UFC 240 live on macOS, Windows, Apple TV, iOS, Android, Chromecast, Roku, FireStick, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Stream UFC 240 Live in the United Kingdom

Fans in the UK are used to watch UFC fights on BT Sport. However, a couple of weeks ago, when UFC 239 was due, the channel announced that it would only be available to watch on BT Sport Box Office. The decision was, understandably, met with plenty of criticism, with many UK MMA fans threatening to and even canceling their subscriptions.

This is a gamble for UFC in the United Kingdom given the time at which events are broadcast and finish. Some went to social media and stated that they’re not going to pay for a PPV to stay up till 6 a.m. MMA streamers in the UK are expected to shell out an extra £20 on top of their subscription fee to watch the UFC’s showpiece cards.

I don’t really know if it will stay that way for a long time considering the complaints. On the other hand, some of you might think of turning back to UFC Fight Pass, but that also won’t be an option. Since BT Sport is the official broadcaster, UFC’s streaming service is also subject to blackouts in the United Kingdom. It also gives the same blackout error message once you try to purchase the fight.UFC 240 in the UK

In my opinion, spending a total of £20 above your subscription is better than approximately £53. If you want to stream the event just purchase it on BT Sport Box Office and you can stream it live Mac, PC, Android, and iOS.

How to Watch Holloway vs Edgar Live in Australia

Are you envying the US and the UK for having official broadcasters of UFC fights? Stop immediately. Aussies also have a very reliable fighting channel that shows the best there is in combat sports. I’m talking about Boxing, WWE, UFC, and more. The event on July 27th will be available via Australia’s own, Main Event. It’s a “PPV,” so you have to spend some money.

UFC 240 stands at $54.95, and you can purchase it through Main Event’s official website. Once you do that, use Foxtel or Optus TV featuring Foxtel and stream the event live on your Samsung Smart TV, Xbox, PlayStation, Android, Chromecast, PC, iOS, Mac, or Android.

Watch UFC 240 in Canada

Alright, so Canadians aren’t as lucky as others residing in the other countries mentioned in this article. However, you always settle for second to best, no? It’s better than having nothing at all. In Canada, TSN shows only the prelims included in UFC PPVs. I know it’s quite disappointing, but that’s the only way you can see what goes on in the Octagon on July 27th.

I’m sure you won’t be disappointed even though you got stuck with prelims only. There are a lot of amazing matches on the card. You can stream the likes of Gillian Robertson vs. Sarah Frota and Erik Koch vs. Kyle Stewart, which is still a very good offer. Get your weekend dose of MMA at UFC 240, don’t miss it. Stream the event live via TSN on Apple TV, Xbox One, Samsung Smart TV, Android, PC, or iOS.

Max Holloway vs Frankie Edgar in Germany

I’m a big fan of DAZN, to be honest. I haven’t missed a single Bellator match thanks to this fantastic service. Dubbed as the “Netflix of Sports,” what more could you ask for? DAZN has spent hundreds of millions acquiring sports rights in a bid to win subscribers to its subscription streaming service, and it did. You can stream the likes of Champions League, League 1, Serie A, Bellator, and of course, UFC.

Not only that, but the service is very cheap compared to what you’ll get in return. Imagine a UFC fight with this magnitude can be streamed for free if you have a DAZN subscription. The service only demands a 9,99€ payment per month in exchange for a wide selection of sports events. If you’re a new subscriber, you get to enjoy its content for a whole month free of charge.

Have you got yourself a new account? Well then, now you can stream UFC 240: Holloway vs. Edgar live on Xbox, Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad, Roku, Chromecast, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV. By the way, if you have Kodi, you can also watch UFC 240 via the official DAZN add-on.

UFC 240 in the Middle East

OSN Sports HD brings you unrivaled coverage of every live UFC event plus in the Middle East. If you’re in that region, trust me, you won’t miss a punch, kick or submission on various devices. Also, since OSN is the official broadcaster for UFC events in the Middle East, UFC Fight Pass is also subject to blackouts. This is what you get when you try to purchase UFC 240 on the promotion’s official streaming service.

In theory, whoever lives in the Middle East and has a bit of sportsmanship does own a cable subscription to OSN Sports. How else do you think MMA fans can watch UFC events in the region? If you don’t have a subscription already, go ahead and invest in the channel. The event is near, and it’s going to be epic. July 27th event will be available for live streaming via OSN Sports on iOS, Windows PC, Mac, and Android.

Free UFC 240 Streaming -Is it Possible?

Unfortunately, the answer is yes. You will be able to stream UFC 240 live for free on certain websites. However, I don’t encourage you to do so. I know that everything that has the word “free” can be very tempting at times, but not when it comes to streaming content. UFC has dedicated official channels for that; if it’s not on one of them, it’s definitely illegal.

Let me ask you something. How many times have you watched something for free and actually enjoyed it without any ads popping up? I’ll answer that, ZERO. Websites such as these bombard your device with unwanted advertisements. Not only that but whenever you use such sites, you risk your device’s safety. Do you even know what kind of malware can infect your streaming platform? No, you don’t; otherwise, you won’t be looking for a free way to watch the fight.

One more thing to be added and it’s very important. I’m sure you got dozens of notifications from the websites you already visited before. That’s because your IP address has been exposed. Stay safe, settle for the official methods. Don’t go around using dangerous websites just to save up on a few quarters.

UFC 240: Max Holloway vs Frankie Edgar

UFC is heading back to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to host its UFC 240 event on July 27th, 2019. I’ve been talking about the bout between Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar this whole time. But don’t forget, Cris Cyborg is also on the card. The featherweight will face off against Felicia Spencer in what could be her final match in the promotion.

We’ve heard rumors that she’ll be a free agent. That means you might see Cyborg’s unique fighting style hit the Bellator stage soon. Cris hasn’t competed since losing her 145-pound title to Amanda Nunes, but she’s back with a vengeance against the newcomer, Spencer.

Back to our title bout. Holloway fell short in UFC 236 as he lost his chance to become a double champion. However, he’s determined to bounce back and defend his title against Edgar come July 27th. Did you know that Edgar wasn’t the first one considered for this bout? I know the two have history and they share incredible chemistry inside the Octagon, but initially, it was Alexander Volkanovski rumored to be added. Well, we got Edgar, and I think he deserves a shot.

Holloway is relieved to meet Edgar in the cage after years of anticipation finally. According to him:

“We’ve been getting ready for this guy for a couple of years now. I can’t wait, July 27th is right around the corner, and I can’t wait to get it.”

As I mentioned above, when I was addressing the Aussie audience, the fight card is stacked with amazing matches to keep an eye for. Let’s take a look:

Main Card

  • UFC Featherweight Championship: Max Holloway vs. Frankie Edgar
  • Cris Cyborg vs. Felicia Spencer
  • Geoff Neal vs. Niko Price
  • Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs. Arman Tsarukyan
  • Marc-Andre Barriault vs. Krzysztof Jotko

Preliminary Card

  • Alexis Davis vs. Viviane Araujo
  • Tanner Boser vs. Giacomo Lemos
  • Hakeem Dawodu vs. Yoshinori Horie
