Steps to Download and Watch Movies and TV shows on Netflix via Netflix Offline Mode

Step 1: Update your Netflix App
The very first thing you need to make sure is to check your Netflix App is updated or not. If not, then you may not be able to enjoy Netflix newest offline feature and won’t be able to download anything. Furthermore, as mentioned earlier in the article (in note paragraph above). So, if you use iOS device then go to the app store (if your device is not set to auto-update setting) and click on the Netflix App to update it. Step 2: Pick Your Prefered Download Quality
Furthermore, Netflix provides two level of quality for downloads. One is Standard, and the other is Higher. As per now, we assume that the Higher one means high definition (720p-1080p resolution). However, Netflix did not mention it there. So, the standard quality download is smaller size file and occupies less space in your streaming device SD card. So, the download speed is faster as compared to the higher quality download. That also consumes a little bit more space on your device. Step 3: Select your Download Item

If you want to get any particular item to download and want to check that either, it is available for download or not, then you can look for the download icon (a downward arrow) on the tiles of the titles.
Step 4: Start Downloading
To start your download, tap on the download icon (downward arrow) on the movie or TV show you want to watch offline.
Note: Android users need to store their Netflix App in the same storage area where they want to save their downloaded files, choose as per your free space.
Step 5: Enjoy and Watch your Downloaded Items
After you are done with the downloading, they are stored in the ’My Downloads’ section of the app. To go and start enjoying the item you just downloaded, tap on the menu button on the upper left side. You will see that the My Downloads section located just above the home section. To begin playing, tap on the thumbnail icon of video and start watching the movie or TV show you downloaded by using the Netflix offline mode.

How to Delete the Watched Downloaded Items on Netflix?
Furthermore, The downloaded items you have watched and want to create more space for the new downloads you can delete them. Hence, To delete any particular downloaded item, just tap on the downloaded tiles. Moreover, you will see ‘Edit’ option there, tap on it and then tap on the red ‘X’ sign there to delete the item, (the items will be removed without any confirmation note, so be careful while deleting items). Additionally, to delete everything at once, just tap the menu icon of the app and scroll down and go to app settings. Here in the App setting, you have an option of ‘Clear all downloads,’ tap on it to remove all the downloaded items, it will ask for the confirmation for deleting the items. Once you confirm, you are done with it, yes just like that.
