In addition, the ministry even said that the officers from the Kiev Department of Cyberpolices have drawn a warrant. Here, the warrant has come in the south-eastern city of Zaporizhzhia where a 24-year old man was made the target.

Moving ahead, the man is running a pirate streaming service by the name OneMov.net.And, along with that, different streaming services were a major part of that.

Further, authorities said that the given site was violating different universal copyrights contents and was selling it to different people.

Here, the whole copyright content belongs to Universal City Studios and is under the representation of the Ukrainian Anti-Piracy Association.

A Word of Mouth by the Internal Affairs

“In his apartment, the system unit of a personal computer containing an electronic control panel of the site becomes inaccessible. In addition, a router is found that was used to administer the specified web resource and bank cards, which included funds from advertising on the specified site,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

However, to date, the name of the sites hasn’t been released and nothing is clear till now.

Now, as the situation goes, the arrested man is under remand for offences. And, it has also come under Part 3, Article 176 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Hence, with this case, the person can receive a prison of up to six years.

Earlier this year, even the United States Trade Representative (USTR) kept mighty Ukraine in their Priority Watch List (pdf).

Here, the government agencies were using pirated software’s and there was a failure to implement any anti-piracy measures.
