More than 7 years ago, the copyright enforcement issue was started which contains a series of examples for the same.

Most of them are the result of YouTube’s faulty copyright enforcement mechanism. This week, the video “50 hours of rain sounds” came under copyright infringement scenario. The copyright was claimed by five right holders who took an active part in the allegation process.

Now, from the part of YouTube, they don’t allow filing disputes on their platform. One of the musicians could have appealed but YouTube rejected it and warned him about it.

Further, during a recent hearing on Canada’s copyright reform plans, David Graham who is the Liberal MP says, YouTube is operating at “guilty until proven innocent” system. None of the YouTube’s representatives is ready to give answers for the same.

While such a thing can be extremely useful for the creators, the copyright holders are not liking such things.
