The 2019 Belmont Stakes on NBC Sports

The race will be available to watch on NBC Sports. However, only those who reside in the United States can access NBC Sport’s content due to geo-restrictions. Streaming channels like the one at hand examine your IP address before they allow you to view their videos. If you hold a foreign IP (non-US), you’ll be instantly blocked. All that you get will be this geo-error message that states: “This content is not available in your location.”

Luckily, there’s a workaround that can help you unblock NBC Sports outside the US. Yeah, I’m talking about none other than a Virtual Private Network.

How to Watch the 2019 Belmont Stakes Live with a VPN

In case you’re in the US, you’ll have no problem streaming the race on NBC Sports. However, if you’re abroad, that’s where the problem lies. NBC Sports is not available outside the US borders. That means you’ll have to resort to a VPN to watch the 2019 Belmont Stakes live.

With a Virtual Private Network, you get to access geo-restricted content by relocating yourself to another country of your choosing. This occurs by connecting to a server in a selected region. Once done, you’ll receive an IP address in that territory, and you’ll be able to access its exclusive content. For example, NBC Sports requires a US IP address. If you connect to a US server, that’s exactly what you’ll be getting. As a result, you’ll be able to stream NBC Sports content wherever you are. Here’s how you can do this:

  • First, sign up with a VPN service. I recommend you use NordVPN. In case you change your mind, you can benefit from their 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Download and install their VPN application on your streaming device. NordVPN is available on Android, iOS, PC, Mac, and Fire Stick.
  • Now, sign in with your VPN account and connect to a US server.
  • Wait a bit until you make sure that a connection is established.
  • Launch NBC Sports.
  • Finally, stream the 2019 Belmont Stakes live anywhere in the world.

I prefer using NordVPN since I’ve been operating with this provider for a long time now. I suggest you do the same. You have no idea how many channels you can unblock with this one. If you don’t see eye to eye with what I’m saying, why not pick an alternative from the list below?

The 2019 Test of the Champion -What You Need to Know?

First held in 1867, the “Test of the Champion” is an annual horse race held at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. The race is an American Grade I Thoroughbred horse race and features 3-year old Thoroughbreds. It is the 3rd and final race of the Triple Crown. The two other legs are the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes.

The Kentucky Derby saw the disqualification of one of the best horses in the Triple Crown, Maximum Security. There have been plenty of arguments against the decision made by the stewards to remove Maximum Security from the winner’s circle for drifting into the path of other horses and impeding their progress. Alright, I guess they have a point, but the horse has a record that shows that it’s the first time something like this happened.

Everyone has agreed that a foul — though it wasn’t deliberate — was committed. That’s why the horse might be missing from the Preakness Stakes. Also, Country House, the official winner of the Derby won’t be running at the Preakness as well. However, his owner Jason Servis said he has not ruled out running Maximum Security back in the Belmont Stakes, the final jewel of the series on June 8.

Singer Flo Rida will open the race with a musical performance. Everyone loves Flo Rida, and we can tell that the race track will be on fire even if the race didn’t kick off.

Take a look at some of the past winning horses of the Belmont Stakes below:

  • Sir Barton (1919)
  • Gallant Fox (1930)
  • Omaha (1935)
  • War Admiral (1937)
  • Whirlaway (1941)
  • Count Fleet (1943)
  • Assault (1946)
  • Citation (1948)
  • Secretariat (1973)
  • Seattle Slew (1977)
  • Affirmed (1978)
  • American Pharaoh (2015)
  • Justify (2018)

Conclusion -How to Watch Belmont Stakes 2019 Live Online

Servis said: “I’m going to do what Mr. West told me to do, which is what I think is best for the horse and where he should be, whether that’s the Belmont, the Travers, the Haskell.” I’m pretty sure he’s going to show up in this years Belmont Stakes. Personally, this is my favorite horse. If you’re excited to see your favorite Thoroughbred race it out against other top horses at the Belmont Stakes, make use of a VPN and stream NBC Sports anywhere in the world.
