A new original movie is heading over for Disney+ this December, and we frankly cannot wait to see it all. Called Togo, the show features Willem Dafoe and Julianne Nicholson in the leading roles. We plan to watch it all online and invite you to find out how you can do this as well.
Togo is actually based on a true story from 1925, when a transport of diphtheria antitoxin had to be done with the help of dog-sledges by 20 mushers and about 150 sledge dogs, over nearly 700 miles across Alaska. Willem Dafoe plays Leonard Seppala, while Julianne Nicholson Place Constance, Seppala’s wife.

Seppala is asked to help transport an antitoxin serum. He then turns to Togo, an unassuming and under-sized old Siberian Husky, who may be old, but he’s got a talent to get out of dangerous situations and to survive the mission. With a massive storm heading their way, Seppala and Togo set out on a dangerous journey through treacherous weather, in some 70 degrees below zero.
When and Where to Watch Togo?
If you’re going to watch Togo, then you have to head over to Disney+. The movie is scheduled to premiere on December 20th, 2019, so we have a little bit more waiting to do. Since this is not a show, you will get to see the whole movie in one sitting.
How Can I Live Stream Togo?
Togo is a movie that cost Disney about 40 million dollars to make, so we hope it’s as good as they say it is, but the story itself seems perfectly enticing, and we think that is going to keep us on the edge of our seats. Disney+ has launched about a month ago, and it’s already available in five countries, namely the United States, Canada, The Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand. Disney+ costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year, although the price will differ depending on your location. In the United States, those who want to try out Disney+ can also get a bundle that includes the streaming service as well as Hulu and ESPN+ for just $12.99 per month.
One thing that you should be aware of is that not all content that is available in the United States will be available in other markets, so you will have to check your own library on December 20th to see if Togo is among the added titles.
