Another sad day for the torrent community as they lost one more torrent site this week. The site operator has not commented on the reason why Bitsnoop shuts down but mentioned that the site data had been handed over to the fellow torrent search engine Zooqle.

After operating for 9 years, as founded in 2008 Bitsnoop shuts down, leaving its fans sad. When the site Bitsnoop first came online back in 2008 it indexed almost a million torrents and continued to expand in all of these years until Bitsnoop shuts down last week. Earlier this week, the site was perfectly operating but after some days it stopped working and displayed this message on the home page of the site on 31st March, indicating no hint of any April fool’s prank.

“It’s been a nice ride, but all things eventually come to an end,” the message reads.

When contacted, the site operator refused to comment on the Bitsnoop shut down decision and said that they have shared their site data with the fellow torrent search engine Zooqle.

Like many other torrent sites, Bitsnoop and Zooqle are banned by ISPs in many countries and the best way to unblock and access these sites and all the blocked torrent sites is to use the best VPN for Torrenting.
